The only upcoming comic book film that I care about is Doctor Strange. But it’s weird because I have no idea who would be fit to play him. My mind kind of blanks on current celebrities. I can, however, tell you who I wouldn’t like to see as him, and that’s Johnny Depp. The moment I heard his name even briefly grouped in with the project, I cringed.

However that casting goes, I will still lobby for myself for the part of Night Nurse.

Favorite French film? I can’t say that I’ve seen a lot, but I absolutely loved La Femme Nikita.

I am assuming you have already tried the “first best person” (that doesn’t sound grammatically correct, but I’m going with it) and that left you empty-handed.

Honestly, there’s not much I can disclose on the matter. I can say it’s going to come out sooner than you think, so your patience will soon be rewarded. And I can also say that I’ve been told that it’s “really, really good.”

Yeah, I’ve always used Holloway, but I noticed that a lot of people switched over to Harris. Without making this too spoilery (woops I don’t care) she was always Holloway to me, and I’m glad she’s returning to it. ;)

Something? Anything? Well, alright. I believe in looking and doing your best, every day. The first half will come off as vain, and it totally is. But I believe you must present the best version of yourself every day. Anything less is mediocre, and that is not something anyone should strive to be.

Be amazing at something, or be a complete disaster at something. Don’t just hang around the middle.

That’s a real cobbled together “something” that I just served up, but I am tits-deep in a Mad Men re-watch before tonight, haha.

This is far from weird, I really appreciate it. I’m happy to know that people discover things from my blog. I know I’m constantly discovering new artists and things to obsess over and waste my money on from people I follow (especially you!) I believe it is the thing that secretly binds us all on this sometimes-wonderful website.

Yeah, the situation is a little weird to me. Let’s face it, the memoriam is a glorified powerpoint. 

Eiko passed away in late January, and Whitney passed away at the beginning of this month. I know the outrage that would have happened if they overlooked Whitney this year, but they could have easily whipped up a slide for Eiko as well.

Perhaps she will be included in next year’s, but I’m not really counting on it. The Academy forgets people all the time in these things. Just disappointed that they looked over someone like her.
